Italian documents/certificates to be enforced in Australia must be legalized by affixing an apostille by the competent Prefecture for the area.
The situation is different if the affixing of a stamp of conformity is simply requested on the photocopy of a document or on the Italian translation of an Australian document. In this case it is sufficient to come to the Consulate without an appointment on Tuesdays or Thursdays between 10 and 12, bringing with you the original document and the photocopy/translation on which stamping is requested. The cost of the service is available HERE.
