PERTH – Leonardo is taking part in Land Forces 2026, Australia’s leading exhibition dedicated to the land defence sector, currently underway in Perth, confirming the Italian group’s growing commitment to the Australian market.
“Leonardo’s technology is at the forefront across all domains, and the Group’s growing presence in Australia is a testament to the quality and competitiveness of Italian industry in such a strategically important sector,” said the Consul of Italy in Perth, Federico Nicolaci, during his visit to the company’s stand. “Australia is investing significantly in strengthening its defence and security capabilities, and there are important opportunities to further expand industrial and technological cooperation between our two countries, including in Western Australia,” the Consul added.
“Leonardo is ready to work with Australia on a long-term path of cooperation in the fields of Defence and Security. Through our Australian subsidiary, Leonardo Australia, we intend to make our most advanced technologies, established expertise and manufacturing capabilities available to Australia, making this partnership as effective, rapid and mutually beneficial as possible,” said Luca Picollo, Marketing & Sales Director of Leonardo’s Electronics Division.
Leonardo’s participation in Land Forces reflects the increasingly diversified presence of Italian industry in Australia, particularly in the fields of defence, aerospace, infrastructure and advanced technologies.
