Italian citizens are allowed to relinquish their citizenship provided that:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. they are above the age of 18;<\/li>\n
  2. they hold citizenship of another country (not necessarily Australia);<\/li>\n
  3. they have\u00a0established their permanent residence out of Italy.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    WA residents can start the process by emailing us on perth.cittadinanza@esteri.it<\/a>.<\/p>\n

    The following documentation will have to be produced:<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. applicant’s birth certificate from the Municipality where the certificate was registered;<\/li>\n
    2. certificate of Italian citizenship;<\/li>\n
    3. documentation proving that the applicant holds a second citizenship;<\/li>\n
    4. documentation proving that the applicant is a permanent resident of WA;<\/li>\n
    5. Italian passport or equivalent photo ID;<\/li>\n
    6. receipt of a 200 Euro transfer to the following bank account:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
