The Pietro Baracchi conference on radio astronomy organised by the Embassy of Italy in Canberra, SKA Australia, CSIRO, ICRAR, Curtin University and INAF opened in Perth yesterday.
This conference aims to in one way expand the scope of the existing collaboration by exploring new opportunities and enhancing the development of radio astronomic cooperation between Italy and Australia and in another way bring together several Italian and Australian researchers who are currently involved in a series of projects.
